These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lyt Quiz iOS app and the website lytquiz.xyz (together, the “Service”), provided by LSPDev (“we”, “us”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing or using Lyt Quiz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
2. Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@lytquiz.xyz if you believe your account has been used without permission. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.
3. Acceptable use and user content
You keep ownership of the quizzes, flashcards, notes, images and other content you create or upload (“User Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to generate questions, sync across your devices, or share with study groups you choose).
You are responsible for your User Content and agree not to use the Service to:
- upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes anyone’s intellectual property or privacy;
- post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors;
- impersonate others, spam, or mislead other users;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. AI-generated content
Lyt Quiz uses automated and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate questions, answers, explanations and flashcards from material you provide. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. It is provided for study and practice purposes only and is not professional, academic, medical, legal or financial advice. Please review generated content and verify important information with reliable sources.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Lyt Quiz is free to start. Optional Lyt Quiz Pro purchases unlock unlimited quizzes and questions:
- Pro Monthly – $2.99 per month, auto-renewing subscription.
- Pro Yearly – $19.99 per year, auto-renewing subscription.
- Pro Lifetime – $49.99 one-time purchase. It does not renew.
Prices are in US dollars and may vary by country or region; the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase applies.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Apple ID (your name) > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. You can restore previous purchases using Restore Purchases in the app.
6. Apple’s Standard EULA
Your use of the Lyt Quiz app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA regarding the app, the Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described there.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and the Lyt Quiz name (excluding your User Content), is owned by LSPDev and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial learning.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost; please keep copies of important material.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LSPDev will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
